Insurance Policy

Renter must provide your own Insurance for a rental

Submit a Certificate of Insurance Requirements document. To be approved for renting on the platform, all of our requirements must be met. Businesses must have: 

  • A $1 million liability policy 
  • Physical damage coverage with limits of no less than $100,000
  • PIE Technology Consulting LLC Rental named as an Additional Insured and Loss Payee

To add proof of insurance for your Liability and Physical Damage Coverage when setting up your account, please follow these steps:

  1. Request a COI form from your insurance company.
  2. Complete the form with your insurance company, adding PIE Technology Consulting as the certificate holder.
  3. Upload the insurance form and enter the expiration date under the “Add Insurance” section of your account setup page.
Return Policy
  • Return: All vehicles must return to location where it was picked up. It should be lock with the kingpin lock and the key added to the lockbox in the back of the trailer. $100 fee will be charge to your card in file if kingpin lock & lockbox not returned with vehicle. Take multiple pictures and send them to PIE Tech email address provided in your receipt.
  • Late Return: Contact us If you want or plan to extend your return for week or month 24 hrs ahead to avoid any late fees. PIE Tech will impose a late return fee on the Renter. Renters will be charged 3x the daily rate each day the vehicle is late.
Cancellation policy

Reservations can be cancelled, without penalty, up to 24 hours prior to the reservation start. Reservations canceled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time will be subject to a penalty.

Fuel policy

Vehicles should be returned with the same amount of required fluids they had upon pick-up. This includes refilling 50-gallon aluminum fuel tank. Vehicles that return with less fuel than what was documented at the time of pick up will be charged a refueling fee.

Cleaning policy

Vehicles should be cleaned prior to returned. $200 Cleaning fee will charge to owner’s card if trailer return dirty and/or smell. Cleanliness is the easiest way to get good rapport and more rentals.
